How does it work?

Sit or lie down and take a few seconds to feel your body and ‘listen to your sensations’.
Visualise a fir tree and imagine your feet anchored in the ground as if they were roots.
Your head rises towards the sky.
Keep your spine slightly extended.
Relax your shoulders and arms, like the branches of that tree.

While breathing, you should feel that your breath comes from your abdomen and not your chest.
Now imagine that the breathing movement involves your whole body, starting from its centre, your navel.
As you breathe in, let your abdomen inflate, you may put your hands on it to feel it.
The sphere rises, then as you exhale it deflates and the sphere descends.

In the App, this is how it’s done:

1. Inhalation

A percussive sound, like a piano note, indicates the start of inhalation. The sphere begins to rise and inhalation shall follow the sound wave, which gradually increases in volume.

2. Hold your breath

The volume of sound stabilises at the rhythm of the sphere, and this is the moment for a short breath hold.

3. Exhalation

When the percussive sound is played again, exhale while the sphere begins its descent, following the sound wave as it gradually decreases in volume.

4. Hold your breath

The volume of sound stabilises at the same rate as the sphere. This is the moment to hold your breath for a short period of time.
